El Windows XP es un sistema operatiu que s'alenteix amb el pas del temps, al contrari que en teoria han de fer Vista i 7.

La millor solucio es formatejar i començar de nou quan tot va molt malament.

Per no anar a solucions tan drastiques podem:

- Passar ccleaner

- Desfragmentar disc dur

- Actualitzar el antivirus (motor i base de datos) i  escanejar profundament el sistema

- Actualitzar i escanejar amb el programa Spybot.  Serveix per treure bitxos que a vegades els antivirus no troben i fan anar lenta la maquina
